Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, downgrades, and refunds work for YR Menu subscriptions.
1. Who you're contracting with
Refunds and billing disputes are handled by the entity that billed you:

2. Free trial
New accounts start on a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not add a payment method or choose a paid plan before the trial ends, your account continues on the Free plan with that plan's limits - it is not automatically charged.
3. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Restaurant > Billing in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period - you keep access to your paid features until then, with no partial-period charge afterward.
4. Refunds
- Monthly plans: fees already charged for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, since the period has already started; you will not be charged again after cancelling.
- Yearly plans: if you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase or a renewal charge, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion. After 14 days, fees for the current year are non-refundable, but auto-renewal for the following year will be cancelled.
- Billing errors: duplicate charges or charges after a confirmed cancellation are fully refundable - contact us and we will correct it.
To request a refund, use our Contact page or email the relevant entity listed in Section 1, including your account email and restaurant name.
5. Downgrades
Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If your existing branches, products, languages, or restaurants exceed the new plan's limits, you will not be able to add more until you're back within the limit, but nothing already created is deleted.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly - this is faster than a chargeback through your card issuer and avoids an account suspension while a chargeback is investigated.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email.
